Day Two of the new school term.
Year 4 and year 3. Both boys had a great day yesterday, liked their new teachers and new class. It was an emotional day for me, as you’ll see from my previous post – Back to School Emotions.

Finally the tumble dryer was repaired yesterday too. I’ve been hanging washing on the line but I’m so rubbish at it! I’d do three loads in a day then forget to bring it all back in later on and it would rain overnight. Waste of time and money!
Now I can start getting organised again. I’m going to have a whole house sort out, get rid of all the stuff we keep but don’t use, and make sure we’re not wasting things or space. I’m going to organise my time to get work done, and to spend time with Baby Oscar. He is very demanding for my time, but he’s sweet and happy so it’s mostly just fun. There are days when he’s very clingy and I can’t put him down, and those can be frustrating when I have household jobs or arty jobs to do!

Gareth is still working, half the week in the local office, half the week he drives to a nearby office to take appointments there too. He’s been running our DnD campaign, in which I’m an elf, multiclassed druid and cleric now, and my cleric side is getting a little bit dark. Gareth made a subclass for me, The Veiled Domain. It’s all about finding out secret knowledge and gaining power. We are working on a file to upload to DMs Guild, just waiting for me to finish the art.
I have a few other projects in progress right now. I’ve just started a patreon, so I’m creating colouring pages, meditation aids and nature identification charts. I’m also creating a nature themed colouring book, which I’m pretty sure my mum is desperate for a copy of. This I think will be a Kickstarter project when I have collected enough colouring pages. I haven’t been using digital art for long but I’m enjoying it and it’s been a challenge to translate my traditional art skills into digital art. I’ve had to learn about blending modes, layers, and even just how to use and hold the pen so that it does what my pencil and paper do!
Colouring pages you would think are easier because it’s just the line art. They are still taking me some time as I am a perfectionist and I keep rubbing out or undoing to make sure it’s right!
I hope to update with these new projects soon!
